We are excited to begin 2025 with a month of powerful prayer and fasting. Fasting is an effective way to humble ourselves and silence the distractions of our flesh and soul, allowing us to fully embrace the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As we enter the new year, we are determined to seek God earnestly and gain clear direction and breakthroughs for our future, both individually and as a house.
The type of fast you choose is a personal decision between you and God, and He will honor your best sacrifice. You may consider using a combination of fasts. You decide on the duration of any fast you choose. Please consult your medical professional to determine which fast is suitable for you. Let’s approach this new year with faith and purpose, ready to experience all that God has in store for us!
Full Fast: Consume only liquids such as water, 100% juice (with no added sugar), and clear broths. You decide on the duration.
Daniel Fast: Avoid meat, sweets, and bread. Instead, eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and plant-based proteins like beans, nuts, and seeds. Drink water and juice (without added sugar).
Partial Fast: A partial fast can be observed from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or from sunrise to sunset. You may choose from three options for fasting: a Full Fast, Daniel Fast, or give up at least one type of food.
3-Day Fast: This can be a Full Fast, Daniel Fast, or involve giving up at least one type of food.

Pray Breakthrough in Your Life for 2025
Daniel 10; James 1:5; Ephesians 3:20-21
Pastor Wendy shared with the leaders a word for 2025:
“2024 was the year of open doors. I believe many doors have been opened in your lives personally as well as corporately. We have not yet seen the fullness of the promise, but it is literally at the doorstep. 2025 will be the year of fulfillment. The number twenty-five symbolizes Grace upon Grace; twenty meaning Redemption and five meaning Grace. 5 x 5 = 25, Grace upon Grace. This represents new beginnings, readiness for spiritual responsibilities, and a period of restoration. The open doors of 2024 will lead to an increase of influence, expansion of ministry, expansion of families, new spiritual responsibilities, and restoration and reconciliation of relationship to the Father. This next year will be full of opportunities we must be ready and willing to walk in.”
She also released a prophetic word during one of our Sunday services in December, please take a few minutes to listen to this prophetic word.
Throughout the month of prayer and fasting, we will pray into various parts of it. We recommend listening multiple times, praying it over yourself, and applying the wisdom and instructions provided. This will serve as a solid foundation to start off 2025.
As you pray, consider the following questions: What will I focus on during this fast? In which areas do I need understanding, wisdom, and breakthroughs? Seek God's insight into what He is doing in your life for 2025 and how you can align with His plans. Pray that God will prepare you to be ready and willing to take on the spiritual responsibilities that lie ahead. Ask Him to refresh and restore you. Declare "Grace upon Grace" over every area of your life. Pray for increase and expansion in your areas of influence, and for strengthening and reconciliation in your relationship with the Father.
Write down any revelations you receive, and maintain a prayer journal for documentation and reflection throughout the month. In addition to praying for the targeted points, identify specific goals that God would like you to pray for each day, with consistent expectation.
