We’re excited to begin 2026 with a month of focused prayer and fasting. Fasting helps us humble ourselves, quiet distractions, and better hear the Holy Spirit. As we step into the new year, we’re seeking God with expectation—for clarity, direction, and breakthrough in our lives and in our house.
The type and length of your fast is between you and God, and He honors your best sacrifice. You may combine different fasts and choose the duration that works for you. Please consult a medical professional to ensure your fasting choice is safe.
As you prepare for this season, here are the types of fasts you can choose from:
Full Fast: Liquids only, such as water, 100% juice (no added sugar), and clear broths. Duration is your choice.
Daniel Fast: No meat, sweets, or bread. Eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and plant-based proteins. Drink water and unsweetened juice.
Partial Fast: Observed from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or from sunrise to sunset. Follow a Full Fast, a Daniel Fast, or give up at least one type of food.
3-Day Fast: May be a Full Fast, a Daniel Fast, or a fast that involves giving up at least one type of food.
